Photo Workshop at Atali Ganga Rishikesh - March 20th to 23rd 2014

SCOPE
In the digital world today, everyone is a photographer. From an entry level camera phone to an Iphone to a $3000 D-SLR, every kind of equipment is capable to taking good photographs. However, photography is not just about picking up a phone or camera putting it to your eye and shooting. 
This workshop aims to hone the skills of the amateur photographer, teaches the basic photography techniques and through practical photo shoots and presentations make you a better photographer.

COSTS
The workshop provides the options to stay at Atali Ganga (Rs 24,963) or the nearby Camp Silver Sands (Rs 20,850). The cost above covers all accommodation for three nights, all meals, photo workshop costs, lecture sessions, photo shoots, critiques etc.

WORK SHOP SCHEDULE
Thursday 20th March 2014 Day 1
Arrive Atali from your residence by 3 pm.
4 pm to 7 pm First Session: Introduction, Photography Fundamentals and Essentials followed by Q & A session and troubleshooting any specific issues/problems of participants including technical issues.

Friday 21st March 2014 Day 2 
Sunrise to 9 am: Morning Photo Shoot
3 pm to Sunset: Evening Photo Shoot
7 pm to 8 pm: Slide Show covering photo tips and techniques like Composition, Lighting, Exposure, Depth of Field etc. 

Saturday 22nd March 2014 Day 3 
9 am to 11 am: Basic Photo Editing 
3 pm to Sunset: Evening Photo Shoot
7 pm to 8 pm: Slide Show covering some of Sujoy Das’s photographs and how they were conceived and shot. Interactive discussion.

Sunday 23rd March 2014 Day 4 
7 am to 9 am: Photo Critique Session of three best photographs taken by each participant
Breakfast – Leave Atali after Breakfast
