Himalayas Images : Tso Kar Lake Rupshu Ladakh

Ponies at Tso Kar on an autumn evening
Tso Kar is one of the smaller lakes in Ladakh. It is a refuge for the Black-necked crane and the kiang (Tibetan Wild Ass)

  2. The second picture reminds me of the landscape in the last scene at the end of the movie "Three Idiots"

  3. In fact Three Idiots was shot in Pangong Lake which is quite some distance away from Tso Kar. Pangong is very much on the tourist beat and is regularly visited unlike Tso Kar!
